The OhioMeansJobs Veteran Portal provides specialized employment services for Ohio veterans. Features include a military skills translator that maps MOS codes to civilian job titles, priority of service at all OhioMeansJobs centers, and access to Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program (DVOP) specialists who provide intensive one-on-one employment assistance to veterans with significant barriers to employment.
Eligibility
Open to all veterans, transitioning service members, and eligible spouses. DVOP intensive services are prioritized for veterans with significant barriers to employment.
How to Access
Visit ohiomeansveteranjobs.com to create a profile and use the military skills translator. For in-person assistance, visit your local OhioMeansJobs center and identify yourself as a veteran to receive priority of service. Ask for a DVOP specialist if you need intensive employment support.
