Helmets to Hardhats connects transitioning military service members and veterans with careers in the construction industry through registered apprenticeship programs. The program leverages military training and discipline to place veterans in well-paying construction trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, ironworking, and more. Apprenticeships provide earn-while-you-learn training.
Eligibility
Open to all transitioning service members and veterans. Must be willing to enter a registered apprenticeship program in the building trades.
How to Access
Register at helmetstohardhats.org and create a profile indicating your location and trade interests. The program will match you with apprenticeship opportunities in your area. You can also attend a Helmets to Hardhats orientation at participating military installations.
