County VSOs can help with rent, mortgage payments, utility bills, food, medical expenses, and other urgent needs. Each county office has its own funding and guidelines, but all serve as a critical safety net for veterans facing financial hardship.
Eligibility
Must be a veteran residing in the county where assistance is requested. Eligibility and assistance amounts vary by county. Generally must demonstrate financial need.
How to Access
Visit your county veterans service office in person. Bring your DD-214, proof of residency, and documentation of your financial need such as bills, eviction notices, or medical statements. Each county has its own application process and available funds.
