The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is one of the nation's largest and oldest veterans service organizations. With posts in communities across the country, the VFW provides fellowship, community service opportunities, and assistance with VA claims and benefits. The VFW also advocates for veterans' rights at the local, state, and national level and offers scholarships and youth programs.
Eligibility
Membership is open to veterans who served in a foreign war, campaign, or expedition on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces. Many services are available to all veterans.

Visit vfw.org to find a local VFW post near you. Attend a meeting or event to connect with fellow veterans. For benefits assistance, contact your local post's service officer who can help with VA claims at no charge.
